I aim to empower local parents and leaders to shape education according to the specific needs of their communities. I have witnessed firsthand how education transforms lives, and I firmly believe in education’s pivotal role in family, community, and state development. After coaching basketball for two decades, I understand that differences enhance a team’s capabilities as each member brings unique strengths. Every community possesses distinct abilities that, when recognized and served, lead to educational success for our children.

During my tenure as a math teacher, I aspired to instill a love of learning regardless of students' initial attitudes toward the subject. I learned to adapt to their needs—a skill I hope to apply on a broader scale as a member of the State School Board.

Through being an administrator I learned the importance of feedback in fostering growth. I intend to enhance the feedback process to facilitate continuous improvement in our schools.

Being a father and husband has driven my commitment to betting our education system for all families. I will utilize my life experiences as an educator, coach, father, and administrator to assist in building and enriching the educational atmosphere for our community while establishing a successful future for our children.
